On September 16 and 17, the partners and associated partners of VERDEinMED convened in Ruse, Bulgaria, for the project’s Steering Committee, hosted by the Bulgarian Fashion Association.
On the first day, participants gathered at the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry to review and discuss the progress of the project. The second day included a study visit to TexCycle in Varna, a global leader in textile circularity, where partners learned about innovative practices in collection, sorting, and recycling within the textile sector.
The consortium will reconvene in December in Skopje, North Macedonia, for the next Steering Committee meeting and the VERDE Academy event, organized by the Textile Trade Association – Textile Cluster.
