Launching of the Italian VERDEinMED Hub

Confindustria Umbria and Legambiente are coordinating the Italian VERDEinMED Hub, conceived as a place of confrontation between local stakeholders involved in the generation of circularity policies that will work on different points of the textile value chain and its challenges. The hub aims to create a collaborative network to translate the project results into concrete actions, adapting them to the local context.

The first meeting of the Italian VERDEinMED Hub will be held on Friday 7 February 2025 at 9:00 am in Perugia, at Sala Biblioteca Accademia delle Belle Arti – Piazza S. Francesco, 5.

The event will focus on two main strands linked to the SYSTEM and to COMPETENCES and will allow to discuss the difficulties encountered by companies and institutional stakeholders in managing the end-of-life of textile products, aiming at identifying a system model that favours responsible and efficient management. The attendees will also discuss the strengthening of the professional skills of operators and the creation of attractive paths for new talents.
