What we achieve
During its Test Phase, VERDEinMED developed and tested an integrated approach to support the transition towards a circular textile economy in the Mediterranean. Its main results include a Support Service for circular textiles, a Knowledge Platform and regional VERDE Hubs that bring together stakeholders and facilitate cooperation across the textile value chain.
Building on these results, the project has entered its Transfer Phase to adapt and replicate the solutions developed in new Mediterranean territories. Through knowledge exchange, capacity building and cooperation between partners, VERDEinMED aims to strengthen the uptake of circular textile practices and support their integration into local and regional policies, services and operational frameworks.

OBJETIVE
INNOVATIVE TOOLS
VERDEinMED promotes sustainable and circular practices in the Mediterranean textile sector through a combination of practical tools, knowledge exchange and stakeholder engagement.
During its Test Phase, the project developed and tested a Support Service to assist businesses, consumers and policymakers in advancing textile circularity. This approach is complemented by the Knowledge Platform, which provides access to relevant information and resources; the VERDE Hubs, which facilitate cooperation between regional stakeholders; and initiatives such as the VERDE Academy, the VERDE Bussola, Living Labs and Proof-of-Concept activities.
During the Transfer Phase, these resources and the experience gained from their testing will support the adaptation and replication of VERDEinMED solutions in new territories. The project will also develop a Transfer Toolkit and implement capacity-building activities to facilitate their practical uptake and long-term use.
